Delete your account & data
You can permanently delete your Ourfold account and the personal data it holds at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open Ourfold and go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account (household owners will also be offered Delete household).
- Confirm. Your account credential and the data it owns are deleted right away.
Option 2 — By email (no app needed)
If you can't use the app, email privacy@ourfold.app from the address on your account (or tell us the account email), with the subject "Delete my Ourfold account". We will verify your request and delete your account and data, and confirm by email — normally within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account credential and profile (name, email, avatar).
- The household data you own, and — for any child you provisioned — their profile, PIN credential, paired-device records, chore-proof photos, points history, and authentication identity.
- Your push-notification tokens and, if enabled, your analytics/diagnostics association.
Please note
- If you are the last adult in a household with dependents, deleting your account deletes the whole household (you'll be asked to confirm).
- Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel that in your store account settings.
- We may retain limited records where required by law (e.g. tax/security), for no longer than necessary.
