Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Famhaven ("we", "us") governing your use of the Famhaven app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Famhaven is a shared app a household uses to coordinate calendars, chores, lists, and rewards. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or a household.
You are responsible for the security of your account and for activity under it.
An adult who adds child or teen members confirms they are the child's parent or legal guardian and is responsible for those members' use of the Service and for the consent described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and trials

Some features require a paid subscription, sold as an auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed via RevenueCat.
Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store / Google Play account settings.
Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change with notice.
Deleting your Famhaven account does not cancel a store-billed subscription; cancel it through your store account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; upload content you have no right to share; harass or harm others; attempt to breach security, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service; or use it to collect data about others without a lawful basis. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create (events, lists, photos, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for your household. You are responsible for the content you and your household members submit.

6. Children

Features for children are intended to be set up and supervised by a parent/guardian. By using those features you accept responsibility for the children you add, including obtaining any consents required by law. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle children's data.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete account, or our account-deletion page). We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access for violations of these Terms or as required by law.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months or the minimum permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory statutory consumer rights.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which Famhaven's developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
